One of the very early East Coast chapters to be formed was the New Haven Chapter.  Here are two newspaper clippings documenting the formation of this chapter.  The first is from New Haven’s Sunday Herald of June 15, 1952.  The other is from the Sunday Herald of October 26, 1952.  How long this chapter remained in existence is unknown.
